We’re delighted to welcome Jaco de Jager on board as a product development consultant for Elea. Jaco’s new role primarily focuses on the full development cycle of enhancing Elea and developing new products, particularly in the area of artificial intelligence. Jaco will primarily be involved in building artificial intelligence for our new Elea solution. He will also focus on research projects, product implementation in the client space, and presenting resultant insights at industry conferences.
Jaco holds a Master’s degree in industrial psychology and is a registered psychologist with the HPCSA. He is the outgoing chairperson of the Assessment Centre Study Group of South Africa (ACSG) and previously served on the committees of the Society for Industrial & Organisational Psychology (SIOPSA)’s Pretoria branch and People Assessments in Industry (PAI) interest group.
“The greater part of my professional career centred on organisational growth through talent assessment, focusing on role fit, succession, personal growth, and team/group effectiveness” says Jaco. “In this regard, I have gained considerable experience in back-office (strategic product and process development) as well as client-facing (needs analyses, collaborative solutioning and professional practice) roles. In addition, I have developed, deployed and managed assessment centre technologies in pursuit of general leadership/business, as well as technical/functional excellence at the organisational, group and individual levels.
