Evalex’s David Bischof to address upcoming SIOPSA seminar

Evalex director and research psychologist David Bischof will be speaking at the upcoming Society for Industrial & Organisational Psychology of SA (SIOPSA) seminar on 5 December 2017 in Johannesburg. His topic, A Perspective on Psychometric Assessment Practices in South Africa, will address issues pertaining to the ethical use of assessments vis-à-vis local legislative challenges and professional guidelines.
“Stakeholders within the profession, industry and academia are facing uncertainty and confusion stemming from legislative amendments and the practical implications thereof,” says the event description. “This creates a real need for stakeholder engagement around diverse testing perspectives in the South African context.”
This SIOPSA Johannesburg branch event provides an opportunity for industrial psychologists and other interested parties to share ideas around the current state of testing practices and the way forward.
