Evalex and Odyssey at ACSG 2022
Evalex and Odyssey will be attending and presenting at the highly prestigious 42nd Assessment Centre Study Group (ACSG) Conference, which takes place between 7 and 11 March 2022. The conference is a hybrid event with attendance both on site at Erinvale Estate Hotel and Spa in Somerset West (pictured above), as well as through the Whova app, which Evalex will be proudly sponsoring.
Evalex is very well represented at this year’s conference, with a number of presentations taking place:
Our MD, Hendrik Bronkhorst, will present on ‘The Implementation of AI in a Development Centre’ on Thursday, 10 March between 11:00 and 11:45. This presentation will be based on the application of our recently launched online, AI-enabled leadership development programme, Elea.
Our Business Development Director, David Bischof, will also be presenting on 10 March between 12:00 and 12:45, alongside the chief human resource officer for Cell C, Juba Mashaba, on ‘Identifying internal talent, driving succession planning, and enhancing organisational performance in a leading telecommunication organisation’.
On Friday, 11 March, Kevin Distiller, MD of Odyssey Talent Management, will present a paper titled ‘Race to the bottom: How multiple hurdle gamified situation judgement tests can unlock the potential of entry level workers’. He will be presenting this paper in conjunction with Professor Jurgen Bekker and Matthew Kleineibst.

The theme of the conference this year is ‘AC’s Fast Forward into the Future: Gearing for the Future’ and boasts a fantastic programme, with a strong focus on next generation simulation exercises or assessments.

This year’s conference presents the first opportunity to reunite in person after Covid-19 forced all conferences and similar events to go virtual.
